THE WORK

"Due to enormous demand across the UK we are offering psychological services combined with alternative therapies, in the short term, to those living in the London area only. This will be in the form of group sessions on a weekly basis. In so doing we hope to improve current services and look forward to expanding as soon as we are able."
The Mood Foundation

The Mood Foundation will build a database of private therapists and alternative therapies used to treat various titles of depressive conditions. Working with psychiatrists and clinical psychologists we will aim to assess what treatment is best for a person and match them up to the correct therapist or type of therapy. Patients must be at least 18 years old and willing to engage with treatment, with a diagnosis of depression or anxiety. A full risk assessment will be required at the referral stage. If you or anyone you know is looking for treatment but having to wait due to demands on public health services then contact us. After a full risk assessment is presented we will do our best to find the beneficiary a suitable treatment plan part funded or fully funded by the mood foundation. Each treatment plan will be able to include a variety of challenging and rewarding alternative therapies as well.

Who can we help?

  • If you are over 18 and have been diagnosed with depression or anxiety.

  • People recovering from addiction who maintain abstinence.
